Trish has worked for the utility industry, healthcare, education and government. Over the years she’s written for many print and online publications, coordinated and developed web sites, managed media relations, coordinated special events and managed a host of day-to-day activities.

Most recently, she has become immersed in social media – developing corporate guidelines and implementation programs. She also started a Ning group specifically for those in the utility industry interested in social media. In the group’s first six months, membership grew to more than 120 members across the U.S., Canada and the U.K.  Additionally, Trish is the chief blogger for the South Carolina Electric & Gas EnergyWise blog and she manages the company’s @SCEGNews Twitter account.

Trish has worked in the utility industry since 2005, initially working for National Grid where she inspired and engaged nearly 9,000 employees in New York, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, in coordination with efforts to communicate with 11,000 employees in the U.K. Today she helps manage external communications for South Carolina Electric & Gas, the principal subsidiary of SCANA Corp.
